Lunaria Limited and the Museum of Russian Art Present “MOMENT of ART” in Dubai

At this year’s Museums Forum hosted by the Museum of the Future in Dubai, Lunaria Limited, in collaboration with the Museum of Russian Art, unveil “MOMENT of ART”— an immersive interdisciplinary project that merges Armenian design, fine art, and fashion innovation on one of the world’s most visionary cultural stages.

The “MOMENT of ART” capsule collection, conceived by creative designer Alena Konnova, reinterprets two masterpieces from the museum’s collection: “Night Landscape” by Solomon Nikritin and “Storm in Altai” by Alexander Dreshin — as contemporary fashion pieces. Crafted entirely from ethereal organza, the garments translate the chromatic spectrum and emotional depth of the original paintings into flowing, wearable forms.

Each design captures the sense of time and movement within the artworks merging the stillness of the canvas with the lightness and motion of the fabric.

“Fashion, much like art, exists as a timeless dialogue,” said Mareta Gevorkyan, Founder of Lunaria Limited. “It creates a space where epochs, places, and emotions converge, allowing beauty to be rediscovered as a universal language that transcends all boundaries. I am proud that our team has created a project that reflects my vision and values, and that this collaboration with our country’s leading museums embodies the spirit of cultural unity and creativity that define us.”

Behind the collection lies months of research and over 400 hours of craftsmanship, uniting museum curation with couture precision, marking the first international presentation of this kind. The project reflects Lunaria Limited’s commitment to positioning Armenia authentically on the global stage, defining modern Armenian minimalism not as a trend, but as a philosophy rooted in cultural respect, artistic heritage, and architectural clarity.

Each design embodies the dialogue between tradition and innovation, where structure and silhouette speak a new visual language.

Marina Manucharyan, Director of the Museum of Russian Art, added: “For the first time, Armenia will take part as an official participant in the Museums Forum in Dubai. It is a great honor to present this project in its contemporary interpretation. We are pleased to collaborate with brands for whom art and Armenia are an integral part of their philosophy.”

To enrich the experience, Lunaria Limited and the Museum of Russian Art have created an immersive space where fabric, painting, and emotion meet. The installation invites visitors to experience art as a living dialogue that connects times, places, and people.

Zara Hamazaspyan, CEO of Lunaria Limited, said: “The philosophy of our company is to expand boundaries and discover new forms of expression. Just as fabric dictates form, art and fashion both create a language that speaks to audiences across the world. We are proud to showcase Armenia through talent, creativity, and innovative approaches.”

The exhibition takes place from November 12 to 14, 2025 at Museum of the Future.
